a divine sunset
I'm not much of a morning person. I am a night owl. My best thoughts come to me in the wee hours of the night. It's quiet, peaceful, and my time. While we were on vacation I thought about possibly getting up early and watching the sunrise just once. But that's as far as I got. I just thought about it. I never acatually followed through and did it. Brad was up each an every morning drinking his coffee on the patio while overlooking the ocean and watching the sunrise. I was sound asleep. I did get up once to peek out and see what the sunrise had to offer but it was covered by clouds. There were some nice pastelly colors, but mostly clouds. From there on out I decided I'd stick to my trusty bed and leave the sunrises to him. He could have them. I'm more of a sunset kind of gal.
Well, well, well...I got my sunset! On this particular night, the colors in the sky were unbelieveable! I couldn't stop snapping pictures of the beautiful sky showing off above us. It was amazing! Everytime I looked away the colors would change. The vibrant oranges, pinks, blues and purples were mesmerizing. I couldn't get enough of it. It was one of the most divine sunsets I had ever set my eyes upon.
Here-- just see for yourself. These are all SOOC (straight out of the camera). In no way did I alter the colors in any of these pictures.

Finally catching up on some blogs!! What gorgeous pictures! I'm definitely a sunset kind of gal too, although I love the beauty of a sunrise more. Guess I'm just rarely awake for them! Or maybe my night owl ways have something to do with a certain baby who's not sleeping... hmm. : )
